Information boberdoo.com May Collect and How We May Use Such Information

Types of Information Collected

We have the ability to collect personally identifiable information and information that does not identify you. We may collect information about you that you provide to us such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, and any other information that is linkable or linked to you such as location information. We may also collect information from your device when you access the Web page as further described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected From Visitors

We collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who contact us via chat areas, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages you access or visit, user-specific information on what pages you access or visit, information volunteered by the visitor, such as when a visitor fills out a contact form to request a demo, name and address, telephone number, and fax number.

How We Use Information

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to notify visitors about updates to our Website, used by us to contact visitors for marketing purposes and to provide you with information and services that you request from us. We may also use information that does not personally identify you to operate, maintain, improve, or provide the Website to you. We or third parties engaged by us may store information that we collect from you.

Automatically Collected Information

Device and Usage Information

In addition, we may collect certain information automatically, such as device-specific information, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, unique device identifiers, the IP address, your operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, time spent and number of sessions on the Website, and information about the way you use the Website, including pages visited.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our Website, analyze usage, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

First-Party Cookies

boberdoo.com sets the following cookies directly on your device:

bb_attr (Marketing Attribution Cookie) — Duration: 90 days. This cookie records how you first arrived at our Website so we can measure which advertising and marketing efforts are effective. It stores a randomly generated visitor identifier and session identifier, the traffic source and marketing campaign that brought you to the Website, the first page you visited, the website that referred you, and any advertising click identifiers present in the URL (such as Google Click ID, Facebook Click ID, LinkedIn Ad Tracking ID, or Microsoft Click ID). This cookie uses a "first-touch" model, meaning it records the source of your first visit and does not change if you return to our Website through a different source during the 90-day period.

bb_consent (Cookie Consent Preferences) — Duration: 1 year. This cookie records your choices from the cookie consent banner, including whether you have consented to analytics cookies and whether you have consented to marketing cookies, along with the date of your consent.

Third-Party Cookies

We use third-party vendor retargeting tracking cookies, including those from Google Ads and other advertising platforms. You may continue to see our ads as you browse the internet. These third-party services may place cookies on your web browser in order to serve ads based on your visits to our Website. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect usage and device data. For more information on Google Ads and Google Analytics, please visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Third-party cookies and tracking codes used on boberdoo.com include those from the following partners: Bing.com, Capterra.com, Facebook.com, G2.com, Google Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn.com, Slashdot Media, and Twitter.com (X).

Our online videos and demonstrations are hosted at YouTube.com, which may also set a cookie.

Advertising Identifiers and Click Tracking

When you click on one of our advertisements on Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, or Microsoft Bing, the advertising platform appends a click identifier to the URL that brings you to our Website. These identifiers include:

• gclid — Google Click Identifier, appended by Google Ads
• fbclid — Facebook Click Identifier, appended by Meta
• li_fat_id — LinkedIn First-Party Ad Tracking Identifier, appended by LinkedIn
• msclkid — Microsoft Click Identifier, appended by Microsoft Advertising

We capture these identifiers when you arrive at our Website and store them in the bb_attr cookie described above. These identifiers allow us to measure which advertisements led to visits and form submissions on our Website. We use this data to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our advertising spend.

If no advertising click identifier or campaign tracking parameter is present in the URL, we may classify your visit based on the referring website (for example, a visit from google.com with no campaign parameters is classified as "organic search").

Server-Side Conversion Tracking

When you submit a form on our Website (such as a demo request, contact form, or pricing inquiry) and you have provided marketing consent through our cookie consent banner, we may send conversion data to the following advertising platforms using their server-side APIs:

Google Ads Enhanced Conversions API — We send the advertising click identifier (gclid) and, if you provided your email address on the form, a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your email address. We do not send your raw email address to Google.

Meta Conversions API (CAPI) — We send the advertising click identifier (fbclid) and, if you provided your email address on the form, a SHA-256 hash of your email address. We do not send your raw email address to Meta.

LinkedIn Conversions API — We send the LinkedIn ad tracking identifier (li_fat_id) and, if you provided your email address on the form, a SHA-256 hash of your email address. We do not send your raw email address to LinkedIn.

What is a SHA-256 hash? A SHA-256 hash is a one-way cryptographic transformation that converts your email address into a fixed-length string of characters. The advertising platform can use this hash to match the conversion to a user in their system, but the hash cannot be reversed to reveal your original email address.

Server-side conversion tracking differs from browser-based tracking in that the data is sent directly from our servers to the advertising platform's servers, rather than through your web browser. This means that browser-based ad blockers and cookie settings do not prevent this data transmission. However, server-side conversion data is only sent when you have explicitly granted marketing consent through our cookie consent banner.

If you have not granted marketing consent, or if you decline marketing cookies, no conversion data is sent to any advertising platform regardless of whether you submit a form.

Your Consent and Your Choices

When you first visit our Website, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to manage your tracking preferences. You may choose to:

Accept All — Enables both analytics and marketing cookies and tracking. This permits us to analyze how you use our Website and to send conversion data to advertising platforms when you submit a form.

Manage Preferences — Allows you to separately control:
• Analytics cookies — Used to understand how visitors interact with our Website, such as which pages are visited and how long visitors spend on each page.
• Marketing cookies — Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. When marketing consent is granted and you submit a form, conversion data may be sent to the advertising platforms described in the "Server-Side Conversion Tracking" section above.

You may change your consent preferences at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting our Website, at which point the consent banner will reappear.

Important: If you do not grant marketing consent, we will not send any form submission or conversion data to Google Ads, Meta, or LinkedIn, even if you submit a form on our Website. The bb_attr cookie will still be set to support basic website functionality, but the data it contains will not be shared with third parties.

Tracking Codes

We use first-party cookies and server-side tracking to measure the results of our online marketing campaigns. When our advertisements on third-party websites or platforms send a visitor to boberdoo.com, we record the source of the visit using the bb_attr cookie described above. This allows us to understand which marketing channels and campaigns are most effective at reaching potential customers.

Your interactions with other sites and platforms, and the manner in which Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft, and social networking platforms use, store, or disclose your information, are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the feature.

Opting Out of Cookies

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies; however, if you do not wish to see ads from these retargeting services, there are options. You can typically change your browser settings to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you choose to disable cookies, some parts of the Website may not function properly or some features may not be available to you.

Opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

Opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page located here http://optout.networkadvertising.org/.

• bb_consent cookie — Expires after 1 year from the date you provide your consent preferences.
• Attribution session records — We store attribution data (traffic source, landing page, referrer, and advertising click identifiers) in our database. These records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to analyze the effectiveness of our marketing efforts, typically no longer than 24 months. Records may be deleted earlier upon request.

Links and Third Party Sites

If you leave any website, service, or application controlled by boberdoo.com by clicking on a link or advertisement, we will have no control over how your privacy is protected by that third party organization. You agree that we are not responsible for such third party practices or any information that you provide or may be collected by such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of such third parties.

Merger or Sale

In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information that we have collected from you or you provided to us, as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.

Note About Children's Privacy

Our Website is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and as stated herein, our services, and applications are not intended for or directed to persons under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 13 years old, please DO NOT USE the Website. No personally identifiable information (as defined in the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 15 USC § 6501 ("COPPA")) is purposefully or knowingly collected from children under the age of 13 by the Website. California Privacy Rights

Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and CalOPPA

The California Online Privacy Protection Act ("CalOPPA") requires boberdoo.com to disclose how it responds to "Do Not Track" signals. boberdoo.com does not respond to legacy browser-based "Do Not Track" signals because the standard was never finalized and is largely deprecated.

boberdoo.com does honor the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal (Sec-GPC: 1) as a valid Do-Not-Sell-or-Share request under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), the Colorado Privacy Act, and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. When your browser sends a GPC signal — for example, when using Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, or the GPC browser extension — boberdoo.com will:

• Not load third-party advertising remarketing scripts on the pages you visit,
• Not transmit server-side audience signals (advertising click identifiers, page visits) to advertising platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Microsoft Ads, or Google Ads, and
• Treat your marketing cookie preference as set to "off" for the duration of your visit, regardless of any prior choice you made in our cookie consent banner.

First-party analytics (used to understand how the Website is performing) are not affected by the GPC signal, because GPC's defined scope under CPRA is the sale and sharing of personal information, not first-party analytics. You may separately disable analytics through the cookie consent banner.

The cookie consent banner also remains available at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the Website footer. If you decline marketing cookies through our consent banner, we will not send audience signals or conversion data to advertising platforms. You may also set your browser settings to reject or disable cookies or web beacons. Please note that without enabling these features, your experience of the Website may be affected. Please see the Help section of your browser for instructions on managing security preferences.

We may use or disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose. When you grant marketing consent and submit a form on our Website, we may share the following with advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, Microsoft Ads, and OpenAI / ChatGPT Ads) for the purpose of measuring advertising effectiveness:
