A Match Made In Distribution | Call Routing And Ping Post

Valentines day is this week, so we decided to figure out what the best match is. For obvious reasons it is not Jack and Rose, but maybe Clarence and Alabama? Or Gomez and Morticia? Most people would probably put their money on Danny and Sandy, or Allie and Noah, but we have to give the award for the best match to ping post and call routing.

Valentine

Not the match you were expecting? Let us break it down for you. In order to have a good match, you need two different things that are great on their own, but are even better when they are together. Call routing, specifically live transfers, allows calls to be routed and sold to buyers over the phone in real time; while ping post allows the user to bid on a lead in real time. From a high overview, when these two methods are together, they allow the user to ping their calls out in real time, to sell them to the buyer with the best matching filter set.

More specifically, either a call center places a call out to the lead who submitted a form, or the lead will dial the call center directly. The representative then collects additional information about the lead to route it to the best possible buyer. From there, the lead's partial information is pinged out into the boberdoo lead system, and from there, determines which buyer has the best match with the lead based on priority or price.

That buyer's information is then given to the representative who dials the buyer, while still being on the line with the lead. When the buyer answers, the call center representative will introduce them, then drop off the call. If a buyer does not pick up, the next best buyer will be called instead, until the lead matches to a buyer. After there is a successful connection with the lead and the buyer, the remaining information about the lead is posted to the buyer in the boberdoo system.

Using live transfers with ping post, it does require some customization and custom training, although the standard and full response methods are good methods as well, if ping post is too complicated for the leads that you distribute. With standard live transfers, the call is routed by area code, or by options selected by the lead, using an IVR. The full response method is like ping post, but is done without the ping - just the post. In other words, the system finds a single matching buyer for the lead and returns the info back to the call center representative.
